PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium are getting a substantial Game Catalog update in August 2026, led by Helldivers 2, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, and Vampire Survivors. The new additions will not all arrive on the same day. Helldivers 2 starts the schedule on August 12, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and Vampire Survivors follow on August 18, and the remaining Game Catalog titles become available on August 25. Premium subscribers will also receive two separate retro releases through the Classics Catalog.
Helldivers 2 joins the service on PS5 alongside a major new update. Arrowhead Game Studios’ cooperative shooter sends teams of up to four players into battles against alien forces threatening Super Earth. Missions revolve around teamwork, overwhelming firepower, and large-scale encounters, with friendly fire permanently enabled to make coordination important even when the battlefield becomes crowded with enemies and explosions. Its arrival gives Extra and Premium members access to one of the month’s biggest multiplayer additions before the rest of the lineup rolls out.
August 18 brings two very different games. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 arrives on PS5 with the story of Henry of Skalitz, an ordinary man whose journey takes him from a blacksmith’s forge to royal courts across a brutal version of 15th-century Bohemia during a civil war. The open-world action RPG follows themes of revenge, betrayal, and discovery across towns and forests. Vampire Survivors joins on PS5 and PS4 the same day, delivering its rogue-lite survival structure where careful choices can quickly create powerful builds capable of cutting through hundreds of monsters.
The August 25 group includes Hell is Us, Umamusume Pretty Derby: Party Dash, Two Point Museum, Metro Exodus, and Dying Light 2. Hell is Us comes to PS5 with third-person melee combat and semi-open-world exploration, following United Nations peacekeeper Rémi as he searches for his missing parents in an isolated country devastated by conflict and a mysterious calamity. Umamusume Pretty Derby: Party Dash arrives on PS4 with a pixel-art competition featuring four events: hurdles, basketball, dodgeball, and a food-focused challenge.
Two Point Museum joins the PS5 catalog and puts players in charge of designing and managing a growing museum, sending teams of experts on expeditions to recover unusual artifacts for new exhibits. Metro Exodus will be available on PS5 and PS4, mixing first-person combat, stealth, exploration, and survival horror across large non-linear environments in a post-apocalyptic journey. Dying Light 2 also comes to both platforms, following Aiden Caldwell through The City as he deals with infected creatures, rival factions, hidden truths, and decisions that can affect the community around him.
Premium members get two additional classics on August 18. Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams returns on PS5 and PS4 from the PS2 era, following Soki and his allies as they battle the Genma during Toyotomi Hideyoshi’s rule. Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire brings back the original PlayStation adventure starring Milo Thatch, now enhanced with up-rendering, rewind, quick saves, and customizable video filters. Every main Game Catalog addition is available to both Extra and Premium subscribers, while these two retro releases are exclusive to the Premium tier.
