Reka will leave Early Access and launch in version 1.0 on PC via Steam on August 8. Developed by Emberstorm Entertainment and published by Fireshine Games, the game is moving to its full release after an Early Access run that began on September 12, 2024, with a final update that adds new content and a set of practical improvements.

The most noticeable changes affect the chicken-legged house at the center of the game. Version 1.0 adds five new building materials — birch, spruce, beech, pine, and clay — plus angled construction and a free-moving camera for building. Those additions give players more control over how the cottage is shaped and arranged, especially when fine-tuning the structure piece by piece.

The update also includes a complete UI overhaul, new achievements, and a range of quality-of-life changes. On the content side, the story reaches its emotional conclusion, while the game continues to focus on exploration, ingredient gathering, local quests, and progression through nature- and spirit-based powers. Baba Jaga remains at the center of the narrative as the mystery around her unfolds.

Simplified Chinese and Japanese are also joining the release through Shochiku Games for China and Japan. That makes the 1.0 version a broader package on both the technical and language side, while keeping the same PC-only platform and the same blend of crafting, building, and witchcraft.
