Sniper Dan Turns Sniping Into a Comic Puzzle Game

Sniper Dan has a release date: the comic, family-friendly 3D puzzle game will launch on September 17, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC via Steam. PQube and Denki have also confirmed a physical edition for PlayStation 5, with the release date announcement accompanied by a new trailer. The central idea flips the usual image of a sniper game: the scope is not used to take down enemies, but to study detail-filled scenes and solve everyday problems with one accurate shot.

The lead character is Dan, a handyman with a precision rifle and completely peaceful intentions. He is not hunting targets or carrying out violent missions; his work takes him across Clumsy County, where residents need help with problems that are small, strange, and often ridiculous. Rusty taps, badly behaved machines, broken signs, balloons, fireworks, and even a thieving pelican can all become targets, but the goal is always practical problem solving from a very impractical distance.

Each job works like a compact environmental mystery. Players receive a clue, scan the location, identify what is really causing the issue, and decide which object needs to be hit. The hidden object side does not rely only on items being tucked away out of sight. Instead, the challenge comes from reading the scene correctly and understanding how one shot can trigger the right chain reaction. The 3D locations are built around colorful details, visual jokes, and small surprises that reward careful observation.

Between jobs, Sniper Dan lets players earn money and reputation, upgrade the rifle, and decorate Dan’s office hub. Additional modes include Time Attack, Ammo Hunt, and Snapshot Mode, giving the game more structure beyond the main list of jobs. Hundreds of absurd tasks are planned across lively locations, while dynamic solutions should make jobs change when replayed. The result is a puzzle-focused adventure built around precision, comedy, and non-violent problem solving.
