Tiecorp Studio has announced Tiebreakers for PC via Steam. The game is a 2D run ‘n’ gun with a sports-driven setup, built around fast shooting, parries, and boss fights staged as tiebreaks. Those encounters use a score rule where the goal is to reach seven points with a two-point lead, which gives the action a different cadence from a standard boss battle.

The character shown so far is Li Sha, one of the Tiebreakers, who fights with sports-themed projectiles. The examples mentioned include tennis balls, bowling balls, and the Nutrigods, giving the game a clear visual hook as well as a distinct combat identity. The main enemies are the Red Cards, former Tiebreakers that serve as high-speed boss opponents.
Tiecorp Studio says the project began seven years ago as a side project before growing into a full game. That background helps frame why the announcement focuses so heavily on the core combat loop: shooting, parrying, and a score-based boss structure that borrows from sports rather than a conventional action template. No release date has been announced yet.
