The game is an action adventure first-person shooter set inside an abandoned 1950s theme park, rebuilt as a hostile tower filled with corrupted fairy-tale mascots, deadly traps, puzzles, and secrets tied to its past.
The premise follows a climb toward the top of the Twisted Tower, where the protagonist is trying to save the person they love. That ascent moves through a resort that twists familiar family entertainment imagery into something darker, with each area adding a different tone to the journey. The structure mixes fast combat, environmental hazards, and puzzle pressure rather than relying on atmosphere alone.
Atmos Games, the indie studio led by Thomas Brush, builds the campaign around five main levels: hotel, waterpark, clown casino, carnival forest, and space station. The settings move from ruined vacation spaces to stranger and more surreal locations, giving the climb a clear sense of escalation. The studio’s past work includes Pinstripe and Neversong, which makes the focus on mood, story, and visual identity a natural part of the pitch.
Combat is built around a deliberately toy-like but violent arsenal. The loadout includes a whack-a-mole mallet, a rubber-band pistol, a dart-throwing Tommy Gun, a crude joke shotgun, a bubblegum-spitting chain-gun, a sniper slingshot, and a skull-popping ray gun. The result is meant to be punchy and fast, with players keeping warped mascots at bay while the tower keeps introducing new dangers and routes.
Progression also leans on bizarre toys that unlock new ways to jump, dash, and grapple through the tower. Different paths can be discovered on later playthroughs, giving the ascent some variation beyond a single fixed route.
