Verho: Curse of Faces is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Switch on July 30, 2026, alongside the Chaos Update. The dark fantasy action RPG from Kasur Games and CobraTekku Games is already available on PC via Steam and GOG.
Inspired by the tradition of King’s Field, Verho takes players to Yariv, a cursed land shaped by the Curse of Faces: anyone who reveals their face dies instantly, making masks the only protection left after 264 years of isolation.
This is a slow, methodical RPG built around careful exploration, stamina-based combat and limited guidance. There is no map or quest tracker pushing you forward, so progress depends on reading the environment, finding shortcuts, uncovering secrets and piecing together the world through clues.
Combat rewards patience over aggression, with blocks, dodges, deliberate attacks and gear choices all playing a role. Different enemies require different approaches, while progression comes through stats, upgraded equipment, abilities and loadouts adapted to each threat.
