Volcano Princess will launch for PlayStation 5, Switch, iOS, and Android on July 30, 2026, bringing Colorful Palette and Egg Hatcher’s daughter-raising simulation game to new platforms for $10.99, €10.79, and ¥1,300. A “Prologue” demo is available now across all of the newly announced platforms, although save data from the demo cannot be carried over to the full game. Players following the multiplatform release can find the announcement through the official website for Volcano Princess.

The game first released for PC via Steam on April 20, 2023, before coming to Xbox Series and PC via Microsoft Store on June 23, 2025. The new release is not just a straight platform expansion: it adds full Japanese voice support, newly written story content, new event illustrations, additional items, and a brand-new exploration map. The content included with the July 30 launch will also come to the Steam version through a free update planned for October.
Volcano Princess takes place in a volcanic kingdom where smithing, magic, and alchemy shape everyday life. The player takes the role of a father raising his daughter, deciding how she grows, which relationships she builds, and what kind of future she moves toward. Those choices affect her development and push the story toward different outcomes, with more than 50 endings tied to career paths and the bonds formed with important people along the way.
The simulation side is joined by a more adventurous layer. The kingdom faces the return of the Owl Lady, leader of the monsters, and the player can head into dangerous dungeons with allies as a knight of the realm. These expeditions involve fighting enemies, uncovering secrets about the family’s past, and learning more about the Volcano Kingdom itself. One of the new additions is the Path of Two Shadows dungeon, which introduces fresh character moments alongside new illustrations, episodes, and items.
