Waltz and Jam has been announced on Steam as an indie action-adventure for PC Windows, developed by Flyway Games, Inc. and published by Flyway Games, Inc. together with KRAFTON, Inc. The game still has no release date and is listed as “Coming soon”. Confirmed language support includes English, Korean, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
The story centers on Waltz, a lost ghost, and Jam, a spirit puppy who travels with him through the afterlife. Their journey is split into seven trials across seven different locations, each one built around a separate challenge. Across those areas, players can expect combat, puzzles, and hidden routes that open up through tools found during the adventure.
Jam is not just a sidekick. As the game progresses, it unlocks new abilities that help overcome obstacles, reach places Waltz cannot access alone, and deal with the bosses that end each trial. Hidden secrets and optional bosses are also part of the setup, while the seven deadly sins shape the identity of the different realms.
For now, the announcement mainly defines the structure of the game: a trial-based adventure focused on the duo at its core, with exploration, combat, and puzzle-solving all feeding into the same progression loop. The one major detail still missing is the release date, which has not been announced yet.
