Nintendo has set Splatoon Raiders for release on Switch 2 on July 23. Pre-orders are available now through My Nintendo Store and the Nintendo eShop, so the game is already moving from reveal territory into a confirmed launch window.

Nintendo describes the project as a single-player-focused action shooter aimed at both longtime Splatoon players and newcomers. The setup puts you in the role of a mechanic heading to the mysterious Spirhalite Islands, where the goal is to raid for treasure, take on Salmonids and use a mix of mechanical gadgets and ink-based weapons along the way.
The announcement also makes clear that the game is not limited to solo play. Nintendo says up to four players can join online, or locally through wireless play. That detail matters because it places the game somewhere between a story-driven spin-off and a more flexible multiplayer release, even if the main pitch remains centered on a single-player adventure.
Launch day will also bring new Deep Cut amiibo figures for Frye, Shiver and Big Man, each shown with their updated looks from Splatoon Raiders. They are going up for pre-order on the same day as the game, which ties the merchandise rollout directly to the release rather than treating it as a separate drop.
Based on Nintendo’s description, Splatoon Raiders looks like a more exploratory offshoot of the series, with a mechanic protagonist, a treasure-hunting premise and a setting built around the Spirhalite Islands. The July 23 date now gives the project a clear place on the Switch 2 calendar instead of leaving it as a vague follow-up to the initial reveal.
