Above Land: Rhapsody has been introduced with a reveal trailer that immediately defines the project as a skybound action RPG roguelite built for both solo play and online co-op for up to three players. Flying Amateurs is handling both development and publishing, and the game is currently confirmed for PC on Windows with no release date announced yet.

The setting leans into a floating world of islands, ancient ruins and civilizations drifting above the clouds. The trailer also makes the combat direction clear: alongside familiar blades and bows, the game includes much stranger weapons such as chairs, dice and guitars. That mix suggests a design built around experimentation, where players are encouraged to discover odd but effective combinations rather than stick to a standard loadout.
The roguelite structure is reinforced by the scale of the progression system. With dozens of weapons and hundreds of perks, each run can branch in a different direction depending on the synergies players build along the way. That should give the game a strong replay loop, because no two attempts are likely to unfold in exactly the same way. In co-op, the formula expands further through coordinated builds, teammate revives and boss fights that can turn the screen into organized chaos.
The narrative setup is also already outlined. A mysterious Damnation has split the world between Yesterday and Today, and Wobbo, a companion who travels with the player, appears central to breaking the cycle. The trailer suggests that progression will not be limited to combat alone, but will also involve uncovering fragments of memory and pieces of the world’s history between runs.
The currently listed supported languages are English, Simplified Chinese and Japanese, with full audio support marked for the entries carrying an asterisk. For players interested in the genre, Above Land: Rhapsody looks like a mix of mobility, build variety and online co-op wrapped in a distinctive sky-fantasy setting.
