Bluey’s Happy Snaps will launch worldwide on October 15, 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox on PC, Epic Games Store, and Steam. The game will also be available day one with Xbox Game Pass and supports Xbox Play Anywhere, giving families several ways to jump into Bluey’s world together.

Developed by Gameloft Brisbane in collaboration with Ludo Studio and BBC Studios, Bluey’s Happy Snaps is a photography adventure set across familiar Brisbane locations. Bluey and Bingo use Dad’s old camera to capture special moments, fill a personal album, and turn small discoveries into memories that players can collect along the way.
The game is built around open exploration, creativity, and shared play. Up to two players can visit places such as New Farm Park, South Bank, Mount Coot-tha, and other areas inspired by the animated series, while meeting characters including Muffin, Coco, Winton, Lucky, and more of Bluey’s friends and family. Activities inspired by the show, including Shadowlands and Magic Asparagus, are also part of the experience.
The focus is not only on objectives, but on looking closely, taking pictures, and letting curiosity shape the session. With Australian wildlife, toys, local details, and playful situations, Bluey’s Happy Snaps aims to create a safe and creative digital space that can inspire children to keep playing even after the screen is turned off.
Players tracking the October release can add Bluey’s Happy Snaps to the Playority Calendar, saving it to a personal account for customized notifications and updates on release timing, platforms, and availability. Details on the game and its physical editions are also available through the official website for Bluey’s Happy Snaps.
Digital pre-orders include a limited-time offer: players who pre-order on supported platforms will receive Deluxe Edition content at no additional cost. Steam pre-orders are not live yet, but the same offer will be available there at launch. The Deluxe Edition adds the “Grannies Are Coming” bonus content, extra costumes for Bluey and Bingo, and a digital album featuring development artwork.
Physical editions will be available at retail with multiple options. The Standard Edition includes the base game and six activity cards designed to keep the fun going away from the screen. The limited-time Deluxe Edition adds the digital bonus content, while the Activity Book Edition includes the Deluxe content plus a 44-page coloring and activity book with two extra sticker sheets. In Japan, the digital release is still planned for October 15, 2026, while the physical edition will arrive on November 26, 2026.
