Microids and OSome Studio have announced Garfield: Escape from Monday, a 3D platformer due out on September 24 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. The game sends Garfield into a nightmare built around vegetables, sugar-free candy, and spinach lasagnas inspired by Chef Monday’s recipe, turning his love of food into the central hook of the adventure.

The structure is built around three worlds and dozens of levels, with enemies to fight and lasagnas to collect as Garfield tries to recover his taste buds. Movement looks like a major part of the experience: he can jump, climb walls, and curl into a ball, while three confirmed outfits add distinct gameplay options. The turkey suit supports airborne sections, the surfer outfit handles water movement, and the cowboy costume introduces a lasso for traversal.
Jon, Odie, Arlene, and Pookie are part of the cast, while Nermal and Squeak are listed among Garfield’s enemies. The game also adds a house-renovation objective, with collectibles used to refurbish Jon’s home with different items. It looks like a playful action-platformer built around variety rather than a single repeated mechanic.
