The story follows Pablo Cruz, a detective who makes a deal with Death herself. In exchange for the power to transform into La Sombra, Pablo must fight back against the evil spreading through his hometown and bring Madre Catrina the one thing that has escaped her reach: the man who defied her power and became immortal.

Combat is built around reflexes, parries, finishers and constant growth. Pablo can loot, level up and shape his fighting style through weapons and sub-weapons, including guns, swords, whips and magical casts. New abilities gained as the story unfolds also expand both combat options and exploration.

Santa Mascota is more than a backdrop. Players will find abandoned corpses, interrogate suspects, watch townsfolk open shops and take on side-quests as the mystery develops. A dual map, day, night and full moon systems, Sun and Moon gates, nocturnal creatures, Tarot cards and Mexican cooking all feed into the adventure’s progression. More details are available on the official website for Mariachi Legends.
