MILITSIONER Brings Kafkaesque Immersive Sim Escape to PC and Xbox in 2027

MILITSIONER will launch in 2027 for Xbox Series X|S, alongside PC via Steam and Microsoft Store. The game from TALLBOYS, published by CRITICAL REFLEX, is a first-person Kafkaesque immersive sim built around escaping a strange town where every move can draw the attention of a giant policeman watching from above.

The premise casts players as an ordinary nobody who has been arrested despite never doing anything noteworthy. Something has clearly gone wrong, and the only option is to pack up, leave fast and find a way to reach the train station. That simple goal quickly becomes complicated by ticket gates, suspicious townspeople, rules that bend under pressure and the constant threat of the Giant.

The structure leans into immersive sim problem solving. A blocked path can be handled socially, by manipulating a character’s mood, giving a gift to the cashier and possibly getting a ticket for free. The same problem can also be approached through riskier methods: breaking the gate, sneaking into the booth at night, stealing useful items and selling found or stolen goods to gain an advantage on later attempts.

The town reacts while players experiment. Every character, including the lawbringer, has a mood system, while dialogue, theft, stealth and timing affect what happens next. Cars, trains, citizens and giants follow their own schedules, so planning means watching routines as much as choosing routes. If noise wakes the Giant or suspicion spreads too far, escape becomes immediate, physical and dangerous.

The Gamescom 2026 trailer points to a game about repetition, consequences and improvisation rather than a single clean solution. Players who want to follow MILITSIONER toward release can use the Playority Calendar to save games to their account, receive notifications and keep personalized updates organized around release windows, platforms and practical launch details.
