No Rest for the Wicked will no longer leave Early Access in October 2026. Moon Studios has delayed the full 1.0 release of its action RPG to March 2027, with the launch planned for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 versions are set to follow at a later date.

The extra development time is being used to refine the game before its full release. The main areas mentioned are gameplay performance, the class system and the overall level of polish, all key points for a dark action RPG built around heavy combat, character growth and careful exploration through a hostile world.
No Rest for the Wicked first launched in Early Access on PC on April 18, 2024, so version 1.0 marks the moment when the project moves beyond its public development phase. More closed beta tests are planned in the months ahead, followed by an open beta scheduled for December.
The delay also changes the Founders Pack window. On PC, the purchase cutoff for receiving the pack has moved to January 1, 2027, while players who bought the game after the previous July 10 deadline are now included retroactively. The pack contains a new hideout called Spirit Cavern, the Sayer’s Vow sword, a custom Founders Tag and access to an exclusive Public Beta Test Realm.
