Sony Interactive Entertainment will host a State of Play on June 2 at 2:00 p.m. PT / 5:00 p.m. ET. The broadcast will run for more than 60 minutes and will include updates, announcements, and gameplay reveals from studios around the world, opening with a closer look at Marvel’s Wolverine from Insomniac Games. Playority will also carry the event on this page.

The show will stream on YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok, so viewers will have multiple official options to follow it live. Sony is also teaming up with Alamo Drafthouse in the United States for limited free watch parties, with locations confirmed in Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Los Angeles, New York City, Raleigh, and the San Francisco Bay Area.

The length of the broadcast matters here: Sony is setting aside enough time for several reveals rather than a short update reel. With more than an hour on the clock, the presentation should have room for fuller gameplay segments, larger announcements, and a steadier pace than a compact showcase. Starting with Marvel’s Wolverine also puts Insomniac’s game at the center of the presentation before the rest of the lineup rolls out.

For PlayStation followers, June 2 is now one of the key dates to watch this summer. Even without a full rundown of every segment, the runtime and opening focus suggest a broad show that could mix expected updates with a few fresh reveals.
