The 7th Guest Remake now has a release date: it launches on June 4 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC, with the PC version coming through Steam and Epic Games Store. Switch 2 and Switch are scheduled for later in 2026, but no exact date has been announced for those versions yet.

The remake will cost $19.99 at launch. Vertigo Games and developer Exkee also confirmed a direct link with The 7th Guest VR. Anyone who already owns that game on PlayStation VR2 or PC will get the remake at no extra charge when it releases.
The offer works both ways on PS5 and PC: buying The 7th Guest Remake on either platform unlocks The 7th Guest VR for free. That makes the launch more than a standalone release, since it ties the remake to the VR version already in circulation.
On the content side, the game returns to Henry Stauf’s mansion with redesigned puzzles, exploration, and volumetric video scenes. The official description still frames it as a mystery adventure built around a haunted house, with new handcrafted puzzles and a focus on uncovering secrets room by room.
What the announcement clarifies is the rollout plan. The first release is locked in for current-gen consoles and PC, while Nintendo’s next Switch hardware and the original Switch remain on a separate, later schedule. For now, the launch is clearly centered on the platforms that can play it on day one.
