The Blood of Dawnwalker Shows Its Dark Fantasy RPG Running on Console

The Blood of Dawnwalker is back with a roughly five-minute video focused on its console versions. The open-world dark fantasy action RPG from Rebel Wolves, published by Bandai Namco, will launch on September 3 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, bringing players into a 14th-century Europe shaped by plague, myth, vampires and decisions that can change the protagonist’s path.

The footage shows the game running on PlayStation 5 Pro, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. On both PS5 Pro and PS5, players will be able to choose between two graphics modes: Quality, targeting 30 frames per second at dynamic 4K resolution, and Balanced, targeting 40 frames per second while also using dynamic 4K. Xbox Series X will offer the same Quality and Balanced split.

The story follows Coen, a young man turned into the Dawnwalker, human by day and vampire by night. That dual nature is more than a premise. The game is built around day and night systems, different approaches to objectives, supernatural powers, swordplay, magic, possible alliances and consequences tied to the passing of time.

With launch only weeks away, this console-focused look helps clarify the technical presentation on the main platforms while bringing attention back to an RPG built around atmosphere, freedom and difficult choices. Players tracking it alongside other September releases can use the Playority Calendar to follow games through their account and receive personalized notifications, while more details are available on the official website for The Blood of Dawnwalker.
