Disney•Pixar Toy Story 3 Complete Edition is set to launch on October 15 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam. Pre-orders are already open, and a physical bundle that includes Toy Story: Retro Roundup! will be sold for PS5, Switch 2, PS4, and Switch.
The new release is a modern remaster of the Toy Story 3 game, with content that was previously tied to the PlayStation 3 version now included in the package. Atari and Digital Eclipse also list visual upgrades, higher resolutions, and improved performance, with support for up to 4K and 60 fps on compatible platforms.
Story Mode follows Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie through locations such as Andy’s Room and Sunnyside Daycare. Toy Box Mode takes place in a Wild West town inspired by Woody’s Roundup, with missions, exploration, and customization. Local co-op is included, along with on-the-fly character switching to use each character’s abilities in different situations.
It is a straightforward return for a licensed action-adventure that is being adapted for current hardware with a broader platform lineup and a cleaner technical target than the original release.
