The game reimagines themes from Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy through a modern, intimate horror lens rather than an action-focused descent into monsters and demons. Players take the role of Gabriele Alighieri, heir to a family duty that returns every 33 years, when the barrier between reality and Hell begins to fade. To protect his family, Gabriele must return to his ancestral home and accept a ritual tied to blood, memory and inherited fate.

Dante’s Bloodline is built as a narrative-driven psychological experience centered on exploration, atmosphere and interpretation. There is no combat, no power fantasy and no traditional progression loop. Tension comes from silence, sound, symbolic spaces and the sense that the house understands what Gabriele has tried to bury.

The ritual moves between two converging realities. The Villa is an Italian manor suspended in time, quiet and heavy with unspoken memories. The Dive is a distorted reflection of infernal depths, turning fear and guilt into physical space. Progress means finding lost magical pages of the Divine Comedy, solving esoteric riddles and piecing together the tragic history of the Alighieri bloodline. More details are available on the official website for The Alighieri Circle: Dante’s Bloodline.
